Description

The C1 was specifically developed under a government contract for use in dangerous CBRNe conditions and is fielded today by both the United States Navy and United States Air Force for medical readiness and response operations. It is constructed from ChemMax 4 material, which consists of a multi-layer composite chemical barrier laminated to a strong non-woven substrate and offers protection against chemical warfare agents as well as a broad range of toxic industrial chemicals.Delivering enhanced strength, durability, flexibility, and comfort, the DTAPS C1 is available with a custom neck dam that minimizes vapor intrusion into the coverall or a respirator-fit hood with an elastic opening that fits tightly with a variety of masks.
